Job Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Huntley, IL 60142

Pay Rate: $30.00-$36.00/hr BOE

Description:

• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established schedules
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues with manufacturing equipment
• Perform repairs and adjustments to equipment to restore functionality and prevent breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection records and equipment documentation
• Assist in installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment and machinery
• Assist outside vendors with on-site projects and repairs
• Replace light blubs, fuses, filters, etc. as needed
• Install and repair high voltage circuits for production lines and facility
• Preform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years industrial maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulic and PLC's
• Machining and welding experience is a plus
• Proficiency with using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to work overtime throughout the week and Saturdays if necessary
• Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Must be reliable and detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills and be a team player
• Must possess a commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and preform physical tasks for extended period of time
